Timothy R. Kelliher, MD

Dr. Kelliher, originally from Brockton, Massachusetts, transplanted to the North Shore in the late 90’s. He attended Boston University for both college (with a Biology major and English minor) and medical school. After fulfilling his Internship year in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital in Dorchester he went on to complete his neurology residency based at Boston City Hospital (now part of Boston Medical Center) also rotating through Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital and Lahey Clinic. He rounded out his training with a fellowship year at Massachusetts General Hospital where he focused on electromyography (EMG) and peripheral nerve disease. After completing training Dr. Kelliher joined the staff at Boston Medical Center and Faulkner Hospital before finally landing at Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals where he has practiced since 1997. He is board certified in Neurology and board eligible for Electrodiagnostic Medicine. His diverse training has made Dr. Kelliher a well-rounded general neurologist with special interests in headache and neuropathy. A proud parent of two children, his hobbies include oil painting, cooking and music.
