Dr. Louie grew up in Newton, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) in 1994 with degrees in violin performance and English. After working at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and playing violin in the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra for 5 years, she changed career paths and began medical school at the Tufts University School of Medicine in 2000. She completed her Neurology Residency at Tufts Medical Center (2008) and a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the UMass Chan Medical School (2009). She is triple board certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Louie enjoys helping patients with a variety of neurologic and sleep issues, including migraines, Parkinson’s Disease, dementia, and sleep apnea. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with family.
